Fishing Report - April 2019
April proved to be a dry month in terms of rainfall with river levels starting sensibly but falling away dramatically, making life more difficult for salmon, travelling up the Naver. This, coupled with a big drop in temperature (including a dusting of snow) somewhat slowed the fishing down towards the end of the month. Regardless, numerous spring fish were been landed up to 22lbs throughout the month as the spring fish continue to run despite the odds. With the temperatures warming back up and some rain on the horizon, we expect many more beautiful Naver salmon to be banked in the weeks to come…
