By Air

Syre Estate is approximately two and a half hours drive or 88 miles from Inverness Airport with direct flights every day from many UK airports, including London Gatwick, London City, Stansted, Birmingham, Manchester, Bristol and Glasgow. Car hire once you are at the airport is straightforward and hassle-free with a number of options such as Europcar, Hertz and Avis.

By Train

A more leisurely way to travel is by train with a Caledonian Overnight Sleeper service to Inverness from London Euston. Once at Inverness train station, car hire is available from Europcar, Budget and Avis. Trains are also available from Inverness to the picturesque station of Kinbrace in the Highlands however this station is only staffed part time.

By Car

To get to Syre Lodge from Inverness Airport, take the A9 northbound, then A429 towards Bonar Bridge. Once at Bonar Bridge take the A836 through Lairg and Altnaharra. Once in Altnaharra, take the B873 towards Syre and Bettyhill. Continue on this road, passing Loch Naver on the right, for approximately 10 miles, passing a bridge crossing the River Naver on the right. You will see Syre Lodge up on the left, continuing on the road until the entrance to Syre Lodge on the left after 200 yards.
