Fishing Report June 2026

Dark clouds over Dal Horrisgle

Early rise in June with upper gauge approaching 2 feet before levels gradually receded during the month with the odd shower topping things up and a great thunderstorm on 26th June certainly helped. The heavy downpour turned the river brown but it soon cleared and plenty of fish were caught, including fresh grilse right up to Dal Mallart.

With water levels low, attention is turning to the next rise and with plenty of fish being seen moving into and through the club water, levels of optimism remain high. So far the 2026 season is proving to be significantly more successful than 2025
