Fishing Report - May 2019
The first half of May was dry with bright sunshine and high temperatures which, although pleasant, were not the most favourable in terms of angling. The more determined among us managed to bank a few good fish up to 14.5lb. During the second half of the month, the rain gods were in our favour and provided some much needed fresh water and some great sport with it. The river came alive with a great number of fish being landed over 15lbs, the best of which being 23lb. As pictured above, a number of healthy, squeaky clean grilse continue to show themselves.
