Fishing Report - January 2020

The 2020 fishing season is now underway with the braver anglers amongst us casting a line for the first time of the year. The month started with very high water levels that gradually settled along with the weather although the second half of January brought some strong winds – not ideal for getting your Jock Scott to the far bank… Nevertheless, when conditions allow, anglers have been catching large numbers of kelts from all beats. No doubt the famous fresh Naver salmon will start hitting the banks in the weeks to come!
