Fishing report - July 2017

Mr Valentine holding his 15lb sea liced salmon

The River Naver has seen a relatively dry July allowing for challenging angling conditions, this hasn’t stopped the salmon making their way up the river with numerous catches over the month including a superb fresh 22lb’er. With the warm weather brings the midges, of course Scotland wouldn’t be Scotland without the midges but they do make life rather frustrating for the anglers and ghillies! Fingers crossed for a little more rain in August!
