The heat and sunshine has returned to the River Naver, anyone would think you’re in the med! A damp start to the month was followed closely by glorious sunshine and humidity. Great for the tourists and midges but not so good for the fish and fishermen! The river started on a healthy 1ft 8 3/4inches and gradually dropped to a low -3inches. We have seen some very impressive fish this month, including a huge 31lb’er. Conditions are proving challenging!

Mr A King not with the 31lb'er!
