Fishing Report August 2023

August has been a month of ups and downs, after some great rainfall in July things tended to ease off a little as we moved through August making the fishing a little tough going. However, after a downpour at the end of the month we now have good water and the prospect of good fishing weather on the way, not too hot, a bit of cloud and some light rain. Fascinating to see this salmon parr (pictured) found high up in the Mudale catchment this month, it has done well to survive for over a year.
